Grant Manager for The Nehemiah Project: Strengthening Historic African American Congregations

JOB DESCRIPTION:

JOB SUMMARY:

This position is located at Louisville Presbyterian Theological Seminary (LPTS). The grant manager will be responsible for all aspects of the Lilly Endowment-Nehemiah Project: Strengthening Historic African American Congregations award grant management including financial administration and analysis. The Nehemiah Project is funded by Lilly Endowment Inc. The Nehemiah Project Funding period runs from January 2021 to December 2024 and operates under the guidance of LPTS Black Church Studies program. The purpose of the Nehemiah project is to strengthen a total of 14 congregations: 13 historic African American congregations and 1 historic non-black congregation. The candidate will work with 13 historically African American churches in predominately rural areas of Ohio, Kentucky, and Indiana.

REPORTS TO:

This position will report to the Congregational Consultant and the Project Senior Advisor.
